In addition to creating websites, Veni Vortex has written a number of free open-source programs. These programs are designed for Veni Vortex and other web designers to make their jobs easier, and give them the ability to more easily accomplish what could be otherwise difficult tasks.

• jQuery.rotator, a plugin for jQuery designed to make it easy to make “rotating” content, such as slideshows.
• Legacy projects, which are no longer actively maintained by Veni Vortex, but for which documentation and code are retained in case anyone else wants to begin working on the project further.
